November 2008- 6 Months Old

*Fun with Food! I had dropped peaches on Alyssa's bib and she was wiggling her arms around and threw the bib up on her face. That made the peaches go all over her nose! I was laughing so hard that she knew she was being funny and cute!
*Kyle started enjoying playing on his tummy. He loved to roll around. But at this point, he would only roll one way and then get frustrated. He has always smiled for the camera!

November 17, 2008...This was my favorite picture. Alyssa kept rolling over on Kyle because she was getting tired of sitting up. It was so sweet of her to just lay her head on his shoulder. Every month they become more mobile and it's gotten harder and harder to get pictures with both of them smiling at the same time. Out of 20 shots, I get a few really good ones! :)

October- 5 mths old

We are getting ready for Halloween! On this day, we were very busy! First, we went to Jacob's baseball game, came back to Grandma's house to play with her silly witch and eat some lunch, then we went to Jolie's soccer game! We were worn out, but we had a lot of fun!

Here we are at the pumpkin patch in Watkinsville. The babies had a fun time looking at all the pumpkins. Most of them were bigger than Kyle and Alyssa!

Kyle and Alyssa's First Halloween! They weren't too sure why they were all dressed up, but they sure did like all the attention they were getting! Alyssa was a "Love Bug" and Kyle was a "Little Monster." The whole family came over to see them dressed up. After all of our pictures, Brian and I took them trick-or-treating around our neighborhood and visited all of our neighbors. Alyssa slept the first half of our walk, and Kyle slept the second half. By seven o'clock they were tired of their costumes and ready for bed!

4 Months Old

By September, Kyle was holding his head up pretty good when laying on his stomach. Alyssa would do it, but get frustrated after 2 minutes. She would get tired of holding her head up and tense up and her face would turn all red becuase she was so mad.
They also started to play and interact with each other more. They would grab at each other and smile. They were really aware that they had someone else there.

August 2008- 3 mths old

We had a very busy August! Jacob had a UGA themed birthday party for his 5th birthday. We all had to wear our team spiritwear. Jody had made a football field in the front yard for all the kids to play. Jacob even had a run-through banner to start the big game! Little did he know, Hairy Dawg was waiting to surpise him! Hairy got out on the field with Jacob and all the kids to play football. Then he spent a lot of time taking pictures with everyone. The babies were completely entertained by Hairy! This was the first time we really saw Kyle laugh hard!

The second picture is us getting ready to take our daily walk around the neighborhood! Of course they had to wear their sunglasses! :)

Two Months Old

Here are Alyssa and Kyle on July 17, 2008- 2 months old. Alyssa was just hanging out and Kyle couldn't stop yawning!

It was about 2 weeks before school started back. I was a nervous wreck! I just kept dreading the day that I was going to have to leave them all day. I couldn't even stand to leave them for 30 minutes. (I still can't!) It was fun to see everyone that first day back at work, but I cried and cried every day after that.

Personalities Start to Show

By early July, Kyle and Alyssa were really starting to show their personalities. This was another one of my favorites. Alyssa was calm and not too wiggly and Kyle was in a different position on every snapshot!

One Month Old- June 17, 2008

On the 17th of every month, I dress up the twins and take their picture together. I always have them on the same sides. It has been so neat to see how much they change each month. So, here they are, one month old. Alyssa was finally wearing "Newborn" size clothes and Kyle was in 0-3 months. He outgrew his clothes much quicker than Alyssa (and still does!). I had these outfits picked out for Father's Day, which was the day before.
